Using Wordpress Time Stamp Feature
This is one of greatest features but most confusing. Once you get the hang of this feature you may use it over and over again. I want to note that this feature is only available for wordpress in the “write post” area.
- Make sure to click “edit time stamp” so the box is checked off.
- Set your month by the drop down menu
- Set the day for the post to auto post
- Set the time. This is by default set to your server time, which may be different then the actual time zone you are in, so compare the time it shows with your current time and set accordingly.
- Make sure you click “publish” and not save
NOTE: Before you click the publish button make sure that the “edit time stamp” is still checked off. As long as this is checked you are fine.
Now, you want to “View Site” and make sure the post is not live and you can even click “manage” to make sure the post is there with the correct date and time.
